Dashclicker (old)

This is the initial version of Dashclicker — a dashboard-themed incremental clicker game. It was originally released four years ago.

Here are some tips that a player might find useful:

  1. You can sell your clicks in the Market to ten different companies, each of which will offer you a different price per click and amount to buy.
  2. The price is based on a random factor that is multiplied by your relationship (synergy) with the company — the more you sell to one company, the better prices they offer.
  3. Each buyer has some companies that they consider their competition, thus selling to one will decrease your synergy with others. Rejecting an order will do the opposite.
  4. With regards to trading, you are looking to acquire the companies by buying all of their shares.
  5. Generally, the best way to do this is to earn profits together with companies (buy low, sell high) — look out for when the forecast for the next trading session is good (green or blue, blue is better) and buy shares, which you then can sell in the next session for a higher price.
  6. You also get part of the company's profit (if they made any) as returns based on your stake in the company.
  7. When you buy 100% of shares, you get an option to claim the company, which will add it to your owned companies and bring fixed returns (roughly 1/100 of valuation) for each trading session.
  8. When you claim a company, your synergy with it (and other companies you own) is increased by a lot so Market once again becomes profitable if trading to you own companies.
  9. Trading with your own companies will also add to their valuation and bring you bigger returns for the next trading session — it is the ultimate insider trading & double dipping. You can not reject and order from your own company, but you don't necessarily have to fill it. There is no punishment for unfulfilled orders.
  10. You do not have to claim the company immediately — if you get the option but the next forecast is good, you can wait and earn all of the profits. However, watch out for bad forecasts, as the company's valuation can suffer a loss.
  11. The valuation has a tendency to appreciate faster than you can earn fixed returns from your owned companies up until the very late game, so spamming Next session in hopes to catch up to the target might put you in a tough spot.
  12. Although there is no "Buy max" button, you can quickly buy click value/auto clicker/multiplier upgrades by clicking the button once and then holding Enter.

Generally, when I play I first make some money in the Market (~100k for the first run) and then go to the Market looking for opportunities. When I claim a company, I make some trades with it until my clicks run dry and go back to trading.
